The common outlet size for all shower drains is 50mm, other sizes are also available. The most common plumber mistake is connecting a 50mm outlet directly to a 100mm multiple trap. So if a clog occurs, we cannot properly clear it. We need to attach a 50mm PVC elbow to connect the pipe to the outside and to one of the PVC multiple trap inlets. If there is a blockage, we can easily remove the top grid that is secured over the dry area multi-trap. Some people don’t know about shower channel drains before installation of a multitrap under the shower area. In this case, eligna channel drains offer an outlet diameter of 90 mm in a V-channel with a larger width channel. In this case, the customer can use a coupler to connect the pipe directly to the multi-way trap. Because it is a 90mm water outlet, the drainage capacity is also higher, and the large shower system can be easily drain out.
